Welcome to the events side of The Storymakers Club.
This is where Storymakers show up to work, chat, focus, procrastinate a little (no judgment), and then get back to work again.
Our events are intentionally low-key. No awkward introductions, no pressure to be productive on command, and definitely no obligation to attend everything. You simply join what feels useful or fun at that moment.
Some events are quiet. Some are chatty. Some are perfect for getting things done, others for catching up.
Here’s what’s happening inside the Club.
Let’s work, together
24/7 Coworking Space
This room is always open. Yes, really. Always.
The 24/7 Coworking Space is a shared videoroom where StoryMakers work alongside each other, in silence, at their own pace. Everyone is focused on their own project. No agenda, no talking, no explaining what you’re working on.
You log in. You work. Other people are there too, doing the same.
It’s great for those moments when you want to focus but don’t feel like working alone. Early mornings, late nights, quick daytime sessions, midnight snack breaks; it’s all fine.
Pop in. Pop out. No one keeps score.
Silent Coworking
Once a week, we meet for a one-hour silent coworking session.
We say hi, mute our microphones, and get to work. Simple as that.
Cameras on or off, totally up to you. You can show your face, your ceiling, or just your profile picture. No talking, no check-ins, no pressure to be productive in a very impressive way.
It’s just a clear, recurring time slot to focus and make a bit of progress.
Same time. Same link. Every Tuesday.
Friday Coffee Break
Every Friday we switch gears.
The Friday Coffee Break is exactly what it sounds like: a relaxed moment to chat. About your week, your work, what went well, what didn’t, or what you’re binge-watching while pretending to illustrate.
Stay for five minutes or hang out for the full hour. Talk a lot, talk a little, or just listen in with your coffee, tea, or whatever ended up in your mug that day.
No plan or hard wired structure. Just a nice way to end the week amongst StoryMakers.
Live Get-Togethers
Some Storymakers prefer meeting offline too.
From time to time, we organize casual live get-togethers around places where many of us are already nearby. Think book fairs like Bologna Book Fair, Boektopia, book nights, or other creative events worth gathering for.
These are easy, informal moments to meet familiar faces in real life, grab a drink or snack, talk about books, projects, doodle and draft a bit or anything else that comes up.
Whenever something is planned, you’ll find all the details inside the Club.
Join when it works for you
You don’t have to attend everything.
You don’t have to show up every week.
And you definitely don’t have to be ‘on’ all the time.
The events are there when you need them.
Pick a room, jump in, and make yourself comfortable.
Join us for upcoming live chats, meetups and co-working moments. Moments to create together, exchange ideas and connect with fellow StoryMakers.
Come as you are, bring your stories and let’s make them side by side.

Book fairs can be intense. This isn’t.
Our Walkaround @ Bologna Book Fair is exactly what it sounds like: strolling through the Book Fair, look at books, peek into stands, and chat along the way. Low effort, high inspiration. A shared walk through the heart of children’s publishing.
